Local Plumbing Service Terms of Service
Contractual terms, customer workspace requirements, diagnostic inspection policies, and plumbing safety protocols across our nationwide network.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Dispatch Referral Model
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Local Plumbing Service ("we," "our," or "us"), governing your use of https://localplumbingservicepros.com and our telephone dispatch services accessed via 877-365-0104.
Referral Service Disclosure: Local Plumbing Service operates as an independent plumbing intake and dispatch coordinator. We connect property owners, residential homeowners, property managers, and commercial business operators with independent, licensed, and insured third-party plumbing contractors. All on-site plumbing diagnostics, pipe cutting, water line soldering, drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer line excavation, and fixture replacements are performed exclusively by independent plumbing contractors. Each contractor operates their own independent commercial entity and is solely responsible for maintaining required state or local trade licenses, commercial general liability insurance, statutory workers' compensation, and local municipal permits. By contacting us or requesting service, you acknowledge and agree to this referral structure.
2. Service Intake, Diagnostics, & Upfront Authorizations
All plumbing service engagements adhere to a methodical three-step intake protocol designed to ensure complete transparency:
- Step 1 — Technical Intake: Dispatch staff collect reported symptoms (e.g., active copper pipe split, sluggish kitchen drain stack, gurgling sewer cleanout, weeping water heater relief valve), property location, and accessibility details to dispatch an appropriately equipped local plumbing technician.
- Step 2 — Multi-Point Diagnostics: Upon arrival, the technician performs non-destructive diagnostic evaluations. This may include testing incoming municipal water pressure with a calibrated liquid-filled gauge, running a fiber-optic video camera through drainage cleanouts, inspecting shutoff ball valves, or scanning with acoustic leak detectors.
- Step 3 — Itemized Upfront Estimate: Before any mechanical repair, pipe modification, or invasive demolition begins, the technician provides a written, itemized estimate outlining required fittings, pipe materials, labor costs, and estimated completion time. No work proceeds without explicit authorization from the customer or authorized property representative.
3. Diagnostic Fees & Payment Settlement
Diagnostic evaluations require dedicated technician travel, specialized mechanical equipment, and skilled technical labor. Any applicable diagnostic assessment fee will be disclosed during initial dispatch communications. Estimates reflect observed conditions at the time of initial inspection. If previously concealed damage is discovered during exploratory disassembly (e.g., rotted cast iron beneath finished concrete, collapsed underground clay sewer pipe, or extensive wall stud water damage), the technician will pause work and present a supplementary written estimate for approval before proceeding.
Payment in full is due immediately upon completion of authorized plumbing services. Payment may be made directly to the executing independent contractor via major credit card, bank debit card, certified funds, or other payment options accepted by the contractor.
4. Customer Workspace Responsibilities & Site Hazards
To ensure technician safety and facilitate efficient mechanical repairs, property owners or adult representatives (at least 18 years of age) must be present on site and provide clear, uninhibited access to the plumbing system, including the main municipal water shutoff valve, fixture stop valves, electrical panels, and sewer cleanout risers.
Technicians reserve the right to suspend or decline service if hazardous conditions are present, including but not limited to:
- Active electrical hazards or submerged electrical wiring near standing flood water.
- Unstable flooring, rotted floor joists, or collapsing ceilings above work areas.
- Hazardous biological sewage exposure lacking proper ventilation or access.
- Exposed friable asbestos insulation or toxic mold colonies surrounding pipe cavities.
- Unrestrained domestic animals or hostile site conditions.
Customers remain responsible for mitigating environmental and electrical hazards prior to the resumption of plumbing work.
5. Pre-Arrival Water Isolation & Emergency Protocols
During active pipe bursts or severe flooding emergencies, our telephone dispatchers will provide immediate verbal guidance on shutting off the household main water valve or street curb stop. Homeowners are strongly advised to isolate electrical breakers supplying flooded rooms to prevent shock hazards. However, Local Plumbing Service cannot guarantee technician transit times, which depend on weather, local traffic, and technician availability. We assume no liability for water damage occurring prior to a technician's arrival on site.
6. Warranties & Guarantees
All plumbing fixtures, pipe fittings, ball valves, expansion tanks, and replacement components are covered solely by the written warranties provided by their respective manufacturers (such as Moen, Kohler, Charlotte Pipe, Viega, Rheem, or Bradford White). Workmanship guarantees are provided directly and solely by the independent plumbing contractor performing the installation, as specified on your itemized work invoice. Local Plumbing Service does not manufacture plumbing materials and disclaims all express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Telephone Communications & TCPA Agreement
Placing an inbound phone call to 877-365-0104 or submitting an inquiry through https://localplumbingservicepros.com constitutes express written authorization to receive informational telephone calls, automated dispatch notifications, and SMS text messages regarding service arrival updates, technician tracking, and billing. 8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Local Plumbing Service, its directors, officers, employees, or referral dispatchers be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including loss of property value, structural mold damage, business downtime, or alternative lodging expenses arising out of plumbing failures or the performance of independent contractors. Our aggregate liability arising from or related to referral and dispatch coordination shall not exceed the referral fee received for dispatching your service call.

10. Governing Law & Severability
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State in which dispatch coordination originates, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
